The Library — Bar Concept & Brand Experience

Concept
A quiet, vintage inspired bar designed as a contrast to the energy of the casino, offering a more relaxed, intimate experience rooted in nostalgia and storytelling.

Role
Art Direction, Brand Identity, Environmental Design

Overview
The Library started as a bar concept meant to feel like a break from the casino floor. Quieter, more relaxed, and a little more tucked away.

The look pulls from old library details like book covers, cards, and archival stuff, then mixes in small Cleveland references to give it some local weight without overdoing it.

Everything was carried through the space, menus, windows, signage, and environmental pieces, so it all feels like one thing when you’re in it.

I worked on shaping the identity and making sure it held together as it moved into the space.

It ended up feeling distinct from everything around it, and actually gives people a different pace inside the property.
